Industry Promotion Specialist
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the commercialisation efforts of CUNJC, including the commercialisation of technological innovation achievements and corresponding market expansion, industrial technology cooperation and subsequent implementation, and other work related to enterprise incubation, and settlement services.
Key responsibilities include:
1 .Commercialise the CUNJC’s intellectual property and technological innovation achievement to maximize returns. This includes precise insight into industry ecology and market demand, integration of CUNJC’s resources, facilitation of external collaboration and financing and investment support (e.g., startup incubation, patent licensing and acquisition and withdrawl of equity to the enterprise).
2.Conduct the commercialisation feasibility analysis for projects from initiation to completion stage and the coordination with external stakeholders to evaluate market potential and establish industrial partnerships.
3.Conduct research, analysis, and evaluation on technological achievement to be commercialised, facilitate and support the implementation of start-up, and the promotion of technological achievements, and identify the effective commercialisation strategies and corresponding rights and interests allocation.
4.Establish multiple communication channels to strengthen internal and external engagement, gathering technology transfer-related news to support the CUNJC’s commercialisation efforts, such as industry trends, technological achievements and developments on the market, and relevant government policies.
5.Assist project teams in expanding external collaborations, including promotion of technological achievements in industry, joint R&D, and technical consulting services.
6.Build relationships with key enterprises in crucial industry fields, identify technology cooperation opportunities, and support the Programme Manager at University of Cambridge in exploring and establishing projects sponsored by industrial sector.
7.Manage enterprise settlement services and related administrative work, engage with potential settled enterprises throughout the whole process, including conducting due diligence, and completing necessary procedures for settlement.
1.Master’s degree or above.
2.Minimum of 3-year experience in technology transfer, market promotion, sales, or investment research within a S&T company; candidates with financing experience in governmental or financial sectors are preferred.
3.Proven experience in technology transfer and commercialisation, including hands-on involvement in technology investment and financing with successful outcomes.
4.Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
5.High level of enthusiasm and resilience under pressure; proactive, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
