Although Parkinson’s disease remains incurable, scientific understanding, early identification and intervention can significantly delay disease progression and improve patients’ quality of life. The complexity of its pathogenesis and the multifaceted challenges of clinical management are driving the global neuroscience community to accelerate interdisciplinary and cross-border collaborative research.
With the 2025 World Sleep Day theme "Healthy Sleep, A Priority for All" bringing the significant global public health challenge of sleep health back into public focus, its impact extends beyond individual well-being to the very foundations of societal vitality.
The World Young Scientists Forum (Nanjing) was held in Jiangbei New Area (JBNA), Nanjing on 20 September. This event has built a vital bridge for global scientific and technological exchanges. As a co-organiser of the Forum, Cambridge University Nanjing Centre of Technology and Innovation (hereafter referred to as "the Centre") was deeply involved in the core activities.
Safeguarding human health is a shared vision for the sustainable development of humanity, and strengthening international cooperation is an essential pathway to overcoming medical challenges. On 2nd December, the "Cambridge Nanjing Forum 2024 - Biomedical Innovation and Collaboration" was successfully held in Nanjing. The event was hosted by the Cambridge University - Nanjing Centre of Technology Innovation, with support from the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government.
